Colour blocking is sticking to one or two colours and emphasizing them through consistency in an outfit. What many have never paid attention to is the latter word, “block”.

We learned from one of our most recent posts previous that Loose Clothing is in This Summer. This trend on the contrary,  has opted for a more geometrical and structured look. Sharp lines and clothing that hold its own shape is exactly what we are seeing when colour blocking in 2016.

The trend of colour blocking has changed. Pastels are more prominent, prints are incorporated, and a we love our washed out tones.
