Canada’s leading community of yoga studios, YYOGA makes quality family time possible with free yoga classes for Torontonians.

Whether you are a novice to the world of all things yoga or find yourself an avid yogi, YYOGA is offering free community yoga classes for the whole family on Wednesday, May 15 in celebration of International Family Day. The studio welcomes anyone, whether a member or not, to attend while exploring themes in yoga philosophy of equality and balance on and off the mat.

Inspired by classical Hatha yoga, guests will experience a slow yet challenging sequence of classic poses and breath work that will help build strength, flexibility and balance throughout the body and mind alike. The classes will be taught by certified YYOGA instructors and equipment will be provided.

Classes will be held at the studio’s Queen Street West location. Class times will run from 4pm-5pm and 6:45pm-7:45pm. To RSVP, visit YYOGA’s Events.

The minimum age for attending a YYOGA class in studio is 10 and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The minimum age to attend without a parent/guardian is 15. Underage guests will be required to complete a waiver by a parent/guardian.

YYOGA is a community of Canadian yoga studios founded in 2007 by Terry McBride which offers 800+ classes weekly across 12 locations in B.C. and Ontario. With a focus on offering the highest quality teaching, incredible studio experiences, and accessibility of yoga for all levels and for every body, YYOGA continues to support the wellbeing of Canadians through yoga, fitness, meditation and signature classes.

Most recently, YYOGA launched an on demand, class streaming platform called YYOGA at Home, allowing guests to practice with YYOGA teachers anytime, anywhere while accessing expert knowledge.
