24 hours may seem like an extremely short amount of time to see any part of a city, but fortunately visiting Ireland’s major city Dublin can be done in a full day…well, most of it.

To start off your trip pick an amazing hotel, when spending only one night you may as well treat yourself! The best place to stay is the Shelbourne Hotel Dublin, the city’s most famous hotel which is located on St Stephen’s Green directly in front of the world famous park.  After your arrival into Dublin and settling into your beautiful hotel that boasts beautiful views and amazing service, this is the perfect time to walk around the city.

Starting at St. Stephen’s green, take a short walk around the park, and take a look at the beautiful oasis in central Dublin. Following this, you can pick up lunch at a local shop like Industry & Co, or try some of the cute cafes the city has to offer.  Next up head over to Grafton street and check out the local shops, this street is not only famous for being the shopping centre and high street but also for its name being dropped in Ed Sheeran’s hit song Galway Girl.

Take a walk along to Trinity college — one of the most famous sites thanks to the famous Book of Kells.  Then go back to your hotel bar for a pre drink and enjoy the amazing atmosphere of this classic bar.  After refreshing yourself for dinner walk over to the trendy Dean Hotel whose rooftop restaurant provides a 360 view of Dublin, and if you’re only there for one night, taking advantage of the views is a must.

If you are travelling here in the summer you can enjoy their modern twists on Irish food on their rooftop terrace.  After enjoying an amazing meal, head over to the world famous temple bar.  This is a must see for one night in Dublin.  Enjoy the cool and unique environment by joining in on the fun and even trying the classic Guinness on offer.  There’s no other bar like this in the world and your experience here will be unforgettable — as it brings about such a unique, classic experience in the heart of Dublin. It’s a great area to immerse yourself in the Dublin nightlife, with live music, an amazing mix of people and a great overall ambience.

After your full day, head to bed and wake up to a wonderful in room classic Irish breakfast consisting of bacon, sausage, eggs, baked beans, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes — you won’t regret ordering this! Another activity you can do is to head straight over to the Guinness storehouse where you will see where  the world renowned Guinness is made and even be able to test some out. How could you not check out one of the world’s most famous Irish beers in Ireland?
