While her days as Posh Spice are long over, this isn’t stopping Victoria Beckham from being posh, trendy and chic in the fashion industry. The fashion designer has taken the fashion industry by storm in the past few years, and now it looks like she’ll be branching out into makeup as well.

Not too long ago, Beckham took to Instagram to announce the news of her plans to launch her new beauty line later this year, titled Victoria Beckham Beauty.

Directed by co-founder and CEO Sarah Creal, the line will be sold online at victoriabeckham.com exclusively. “Victoria has an innate love of beauty that started when she was very young, and has continued unabated,” Creal said in a statement. “This authenticity is going to infuse the entire business strategy, and because everything will be directly overseen by Victoria, the line will be elevated and impeccably curated.” Creal had previously worked with Victoria back in 2016 for the Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder capsule collection that was comprised of 14 limited edition products, which was highly successful and praised all-around.

It is well-known that the designer is a makeup and skincare enthusiast, as she frequently updates her fans on what new products she recommends on her Instagram. With that being said, it’s no surprise that the fashion designer is creating her own beauty line, making it all the more personal.

“I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skincare, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life,” Beckham said.

The news of this upcoming launch comes after Beckham’s announcement of starting her own YouTube channel just late last year, in an effort to get closer with her fanbase and engage with the beauty community.

In terms of promoting the lineup, it seems like Beckham will be taking the same approach that she does with her fashion line, which is by speaking directly to consumers and getting insight from the beauty community on what exactly they want via social media channels. “I was going direct to the consumer with regards to fashion before I had a stand-alone store, so this isn’t new to me. Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I’m going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It’s important for me to know what they want,” Beckham told WWD.

While there’s no word yet on what the exact products being launched are, the anticipated beauty line is expected to feature a wide range of products, including makeup, skincare, fragrance and wellness. Victoria Beckham Beauty is set to launch in Autumn later this year — so stay tuned!
